Four Dimensions is a blog launched in February 2026. Four Dimensions is also the name of a 40 foot Aintree Beetle narrowboat launched in 2023. The blog is about various technical and practical ideas and issues with fitting out and equipping the boat. Some of these things are computer related, so you may find stuff about using a Raspberry Pi, an Internet router and environmental sensors. But some things are much more mundane, like providing a way to dry dripping wet clothes on board without getting water all over (and under) the floor (when you need this, you really need it).

The author is an electronics engineer, and a retired lecturer, and has some experience with computing and mathematics (which is where the name came from - more later in a post). So you may also find posts on topics about some aspects of those subjects.
